   The MOPS program is open to any mother of a preschooler ages 0 - Kindergarten.

What is MOPS?

   MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS is a non-denominational Christian organization open to all mothers with children under school age. MOPS helps moms...
and MOPS makes a difference in the lives of families. The purpose of MOPS International is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs. This purpose is carried out in a variety of ways -- through local MOPS groups and MomSense Resources.

   MOPS Groups: Currently, over 1,200 MOPS groups gather in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and ten other countries to meet the needs of more than 55,000 women of all ages and backgrounds, sharing the same desire -- to be the best mothers they can be.

MOPS Groups offer:

  • An opportunity to forge friendships with other moms, get encouragement and practical tips for surviving the preschool years.
  • MOPPETS, where little ones are nurtured.
  • Teaching based on biblical values about mothering, womanhood, and relationships.
  • Discussion Groups where moms can express their thoughts and feelings in an encouraging, accepting atmosphere.
  • A time to express creativity in a variety of activities.

Most of the MOPS groups meet from September to May, and there is probably a group near you.
